In this article I will line up some interesting Google Earth screencaps of WO2 bunkers and other remains. The Germans have build many bunkers in the Netherlands, around 5000 at least on the shore of the North-Sea. Most bunkers have been dug up by the government and then filled with sand to prevent people from entering them as most bunkers aren't in a best shape due to land slides and stuff like that.
But there are still bunkers being found by enthusiasts. Most of those still contain some artifacts from the Second World War. I do want to point out that all bunkers in the Netherlands weren't occupied during the war. They were however stocked with food, guns and other stuff.
At the moment there is a real hype in the Netherlands as some people claim that there is a sealed bunker somewhere in Zandvoort (20 km's from Amsterdam) which should contain many art from the Second World War. A German officer is pointed out as the person who hide the art to prevent it from being destroyed.
--- UPDATE: They have found the bunker and on April 3, they will open it up. If there is art in it, it will probably be seriously damaged as the climate in a bunker is very bad.
Well, that was the intro, check the caps below :)
